非二元性の中の二元性

スピリチュアルな覚醒をする人が増えています。霊的な修行やグルなしで、自らの存在の真実に気づき、その新たな気づきを深め広げていくためにサットサンに来ます。そのような人が来るとき私はわくわくすると同時に、慎重になります。
なぜ慎重になるのでしょうか？ 彼らは新しい発見にのまれた状態でサットサンに来ますが、完全に覚醒するために必要な深い理解なしでは、真我が完全にエゴの考えにとってかわるわけではないからです。究極の自由を知る前に、ニューエイジや宗教的な考えを含んだ誤った理解を、解消する必要があります。
たとえ霊的な真実に気づいたとしても、ディープニングを深めなければ、マインドや体の中に“真実でないもの”が残り、それは自分自身や“他者”に対する混乱を引き起こします。例えば、サットサンの中で、「‘わたし’というものは存在しない」ということをよく聞きます。このような話を聞くたびに、それが本当に意味していることはなんだろうかと思います。個人というマインドの考えは、幻想だという事に気づいたのでしょうか？それとも、体はもう存在しない、もしくは体はすぐになくなるだろうと思っているのでしょうか？目に見えるあらゆるものを否定しているのでしょうか？覚醒が体の物理的な人生の終わりを意味すると思っているのでしょうか？これらの事を本当のことだと信じている人もいますが、それは大きな誤解です。
真の自己実現（覚醒）が起こったあとも、物理的な体の人生は続きます。そしてそれは覚醒したことについての新たなストーリーをも含みます。実際、覚醒によって唯一消えるものは、幻想の世界の中心になっている体との同一化です。体のもつ過去、現在、未来についてのストーリーは、かつて“真実”だと思っていた架空の物語を支持しなくなったとしても、頭や体の細胞構造の中に依然として残ります。それでもストーリーの記憶は来ては去っていきますが、覚醒によって得られた新たな理解が、マインドやエゴがこだわっていたささいなことに対する興味をなくしていきます。そして真我がそれら細々としたことにとって代わられます。
物理的な意味で言えば、何も変わらないのです。しかし見方を変えると、何が真実かわかったことにより、物語の主体から、見る人へとかわると言えます。すなわち物語の観察者、そして同時にその物語の役者となります。観察者として、体が経験する二元性の体験はどうであれ、それを変える必要はないと知ります。人生はただあるがままにあり、真実を知っているということで内なる平和と喜びが完全に今ここにあります．．．それは継続的にその瞬間瞬間として続いていきます。
森羅万象の創造者は現実という物語を作り続け、それはよく観察しない人にとっては真実に見えます。しかし覚醒した意識は、人生はそれ以上でも、それ以下でもなく、すべてがただあるがままにあることを、ハートの奥底から知っています。アドヴァイタ（非二元）とは一つということです。二つではありません。そうであるなら、現実という物語は非二元の中の二元性と言えます。そしてそのことに対する深い理解が、完全に自分自身を知り、人間としての悟りの体現を完了させるためには必要不可欠です。
Non-Duality Includes Duality
Spiritual Awakening is happening. Without any apparent formal spiritual practice or guru . . . people around me are realizing the Truth of their existence and showing up in satsang to continue expanding and deepening their new awareness. I am thrilled when they appear . . . and at the same time . . . I am also wary.
Why wary? Because they often show up engulfed in the wave of new discovery, but without the depth of understanding which constitutes a full awakening . . . an awakening in which True Self has completely replaced ego’s beliefs. Their mental misunderstandings which frequently include New Age and/or religious concepts, still must be addressed and dissolved before they can truly know the Ultimate Freedom.
Even though they have realized spiritual Truth, without an in depth deepening process there still remains enough “untruth” in their mind and body to create confusion for themselves and for “others.” For example, one comment I frequently hear is “there is no ‘me.’” I wonder what they actually mean when they make this statement. Have they realized that their mental concept of individuality is an illusion? Or maybe they have mentally determined that their physical body now no longer exists, or will soon disappear due to their enlightenment. Are they negating the creation of just one form or all forms? Do they consider their Awakening to be the end of their body’s physical life? Some have believed this to be the case . . . a major misunderstanding to be sure!
Once an authentic Self-realization moment occurs, life continues to unfold for the physical body . . . and their story now includes an awakening. In fact, the only thing that has disappeared is the identification with that particular body as being at the center of an imaginary universe. The story of that body’s past, present and future is still carried in its mental and physical cellular structure, even though the thoughts it produces no longer support the imaginary story once believed to be “the reality.” Memories of that story will still come and go, but a new clarity about the relevance of the details makes those details less interesting and irrelevant to the “presence” that has overshadowed and replaced them.
In a physical sense, nothing has changed. Yet In the new context, the perception of the “seer” has shifted from considering itself the subject of the story to now having the recognition of “what is” . . . namely that it is now the observer of the story and its actor/actors. As observer, it recognizes that “it” has no reason to change the body’s experience of duality in any way. Life is as it is, and its awareness of this Truth is why inner peace and joy are fully present in this moment . . . and can also be in each successive moment after moment, after moment of presence.
The creator of “all that is” continues to generate manifestations of the storyline which appear real to the casual observer . . . but Awakened awareness, which truly sees life as it is, knows deep within its heart of hearts, that all is exactly as it is meant to be . . . and wants for nothing more . . . or less. Advaita means ONE . . . with no second. As such, it includes duality within non-duality. . . and a deep understanding of this is essential to full Self-realization and the complete human embodiment of enlightenment.
