Channeling can be done by anyone sufficiently open, emotionally and spiritually, to receive what their spirit guides want to communicate to them. Since channeling requires a pipeline through ego's domain, clear channeling only happens when ego is not threatened by the process. Only clear channeling provides the wisdom and information the limited mind cannot otherwise access. Channeling that is distorted by ego's interference is useless, ego inflating and should be avoided. Those who channel, as well as those who seek guidance from channeling by others, must learn to discern the difference between clear channeling and ordinary, ego infiltrated channeling. There are clues, you just need to learn what to look for.

Channeling can also come from different levels of consciousness, so learning to discern the level of consciousness of a channeling is of primary importance. There is no benefit to being guided by a spirit that is stuck between dimensions or on the astral realm wanting to use you for their own purposes. Channeling should only be done with energies of the highest level of awareness. Here are the clues:

    * Is the channeled message unconditionally loving?
    * Is there any negativity in the channeling about you or anyone else?
    * Is there any attempt to control or manipulate vs support and assist?
    * Does the message feed anyone's ego with comments about specialness?

If any of the last three are present in a channeling you receive, toss the message, clear your energy field, and your environment, and raise your vibration until it is compatible with Christ consciousness. Like attracts like, so the clarity and vibration of the one channeling will determine the level of awareness of any channeling they receive. Clearing emotional baggage, negative beliefs and attitudes, and unconscious, self-limiting patterns, is essential to having a channeling relationship with an Ascended Master or Archangel.
