How to Relate to a Channeled Reading

Whenever anyone seeks council from channeling, the first thing to do is ask the channeled being one simple question: “Is this channeling coming from Christ consciousness?” Only an immediate “YES” answer is good enough to go on to the next question.

Once you are comfortable with the channeled being, ask questions that do not contain time calibrations like, “when will I meet my soul mate?” Any question with a time consideration cannot be answered accurately. Beings who are worth consulting do not exist in linear time and can only guess how our time relates to what they are aware of in the moment. As for the soul mate question, you might want to ask something more significant like, “What is my next step towards enlightenment,” or “What do I need to clear which has been blocking me from enlightenment?”

Be considerate of the channel and come prepared. Bring a list of about 10 questions that are prioritized in their order of importance. Be focused and very specific about what you ask so that the answer contains the information you seek. The entity will tell you what you need to hear, not necessarily what you want to know. Poorly asked questions can get disappointing answers

Take notes or get a recording of your session. Always review what was said to make sure you understand the meanings intended. Sometimes there are multiple meanings in one statement, and as you sit with the answer, often a deeper meaning will become apparent.

Help the channeling along by staying neutral in your reactions to what is said. Your mental and emotional attitudes can trigger a reaction to an answer that you may not want to hear. If you are open, and not reactive, the entity will be able to go deeper with you than it could if you are in a defensive posture.

It is a blessing to be in the presence of a Christ consciousness being. Give them the respect they deserve, but do not consider them to be “better than” you or anyone else. Praying to them, bowing to them, etc., cancels your ability to be objective about what they are saying to you. They will always be loving, and may tell you something you need to know but would rather not hear. Pay attention and don’t let your ego get involved in defending yourself or attacking the one delivering you this gift of awareness. What you do with what is said after the session is totally up to you.

Another important aspect of receiving this gift is the fact that channeled beings are only able to communicate to you through a human conduit. The conduit’s ability to give a clear transmission must also be considered. When the conduit is not well, or emotionally not clear, a channeling can become distorted. The channel’s opinion may be interjected into what is coming through them, or a deceiver, who has attached itself to the channel when they were vulnerable, could insert its messages into your reading. Never consider a channeled message to be absolute truth unless you are able to read the energy of the channel and know the vibration is high enough to match a Christ consciousness being.

The level of consciousness of the conduit also determines the level of awareness a Master can deliver. Plenty of people channel Ascended Masters, but only an awakened conduit can bring through an awakened teaching. If a conduit does not understand an advanced teaching they are not going to deliver it with the right energy. The Ascended ones dilute their teachings to make them understandable to their conduits and their audience.

Please evaluate your reading after you have left the channel’s presence. No channeling should be given any more credibility than the guidance from your own Master within. If it doesn’t feel right intuitively don’t accept what was said as being more accurate than what you are feeling. Trusting yourself about the value of everything that comes from outside is an important spiritual lesson. Ultimately, you are the only one responsible for the choices you make.
