Aruna (previously named Rea by Ascended Master Saint Germain) began channeling spontaneously in 1985. She agreed to be a teaching channel for Saint Germain, with the agreement that channeling for him would also lead her to Self Realization. Aruna traveled the world for seven years for Saint Germain, either channeling his teachings, or anchoring light to the earth where he asked her to go. Saint Germain only used Aruna for conscious channeling, because he wanted her to gain the benefit of everything he was channeling through her to others. Aruna's complete surrender to the channeling of Saint Germain was essential to the process as it led her to Awakening. In December 1992, a channeling from Saint Germain advised her to go to India for "graduation," it was time for Self Realization.
In her seven years as a channeling professional, Aruna experienced all of the challenges that channeling could attract. In this way, Saint Germain made sure she would learn everything there is to know about the phenomenon of channeling. While living in Germany, 1990-1993, she co-authored a book with two NLP trainers, called A Course In Channeling (English translation), published in Germany in 1994. This book contains an NLP "model" of channeling that can be replicated by those willing to adopt the beliefs, behaviors and techniques shared by nine professional channels, interviewed in their normal state and when they were channeling. Aruna's method of channeling, and numerous interviews with Saint Germain about channeling, are key elements of this book. Aruna used this "model" of channeling for workshops she taught in Germany, Japan and the US.
When Aruna Awakened in 1993, she stopped channeling Saint Germain (for herself and others) because her own "knowing" provided guidance an "as needed" basis. She also "knew" that helping others Awaken, for channeling their own "knowing", were more helpful than receiving a message from Saint Germain.After Awakening, her emphasis for teaching channeling shifted from channeling spirit guides to awakening Inner Knowing.

Twelve years later, in 2005, Saint Germain asked Aruna if she would assist him and other members of the spiritual hierarchy by channeling and publishing a series of messages about the future and how to prepare for what's to come.
